Orders & Shipping

When will I receive my order?

Estimated delivery times will be communicated at the time of order confirmation.

Domestically, our standard shipping is UPS Ground. Orders arrive to Eastern states typically in 2 days, Midwestern states 2-3 days, and Western states 3-4 days.

Locally (Atlanta + 50 mile radius), our standard shipping is same-day for orders of up to 6 pads when the order is received by 2pm ET.

In a rush? We can help! Call (404) 436-0985 or email info@itsunderitall.com for assistance.

For more details, visit Shipping.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is calculated using weight and destination, and we work hard to keep costs as low as possible. For example, our proprietary folding and boxing solutions reduce shipping costs substantially—typically we are able to send two 9x12 pads for less than what our competitors charge to ship one 9x12 pad.

Add the pads you need to your cart and the shipping costs will be estimated automatically.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship within the USA and Canada, and have plans to expand internationally over time. Please reach out info@itsunderitall.comwith your delivery destination to discuss your order and allow us to estimate shipping time/costs.

What time does my order need to be placed for same day delivery?

For same-day delivery, your delivery address must be within a 50 mile radius of Atlanta, GA. If you’re outside the area, fast shipping is possible, but same-day delivery is not. Same-day delivery orders must be placed by 2pm ET, Monday through Friday. All orders placed after 2pm will be pushed to the earliest delivery on the next business day. Some holidays will interrupt normal delivery schedules. Visit Shipping for more info.

I need to cancel or change my order.

Time is of the essence—we need to hear from you right away. Call (404) 436-0985 or email info@itsunderitall.com. Visit Returns for information on canceling or changing an order.

I did not receive my order.

All processed orders receive a tracking number via email for the product(s) shipped. Use the tracking number to find the status of your delivery. If you are not able to find the tracking number for your order, email info@itsunderitall.com and we will provide it to you.

In the event of a missed delivery, you will be notified of the next delivery attempt, or provided with instructions on how to reschedule or retrieve your order. Visit Shipping for more info.

Rug pads

What size rug pad do you go up to?

We are able to custom cut up to 40’x40’ square, up to 40’x60’ rectangle, and up to 40’ round.

How do I measure for a custom rug pad?

Ideally, you will want to physically measure your rug to confirm dimensions before ordering your rug pad. Grab a tape measure and round to the nearest half inch. If you are not able to physically measure the rug, use the dimensions on the label or from the manufacturer. If your rug is funky or free form (i.e. not a rectangle, square or circle), we’ll want to work with you directly. Email info@itsunferitall.com. We love funky and freeform, btw.

Why do I need the exact dimensions of the rug to order a pad?

Most rugs are not the exact dimensions stated on the rug label, which is why measuring physically to confirm size is so important. We cut to the dimension provided to us at checkout, which means you assume responsibility for measuring accurately.

If you don’t have the rug in hand to measure, use the label dimensions. Your rectangle and square pads will be perforated in two 1” increments on two sides. Perforation acts like an insurance policy—you can refine the fit of the pad to the rug by up to 2” in each direction by simply pulling the perf. No scissors required.

Why is my rug pad shorter than my rug?

We did that, yes. Your pad will always be custom cut shorter than the area rug dimensions you supply. This allowance enables the corners of the rug to taper towards the floor, preventing trip hazards.

How long does a rug pad last?

Your rug pad should last you at least five years in an area with light to normal traffic. Rug pads placed in high traffic areas or commercial spaces may need to be replaced sooner.

Is the rug pad waterproof?

Made of 100% post-recycled felted synthetic fiber, your rug pad is water resistant but not waterproof. If a spill or accident makes your felted rug pad wet, immediately separate the rug from the pad and elevate the pad from the floor with an absorbent cloth. Allow to dry naturally. Most inorganic liquid spills will dry and not affect pad performance.

Can I use the rug pad outdoors?

Your felted rug pad is intended for indoor use only, primarily because it will retain moisture.

Is my rug pad safe for kids and pets?

Among the safest, actually. Our rug pad does not contain any additives or chemicals that will harm your family and pets. It’s made from recycled fibers, with the exception of the white PVC grip system in a daisy pattern on the bottom (the floor-side) of the pad.

PVC does not off-gas or release any toxic chemicals when dry or wet. We’re miles ahead of the pack when it comes to safety, with OEKO-TEX 100 and CRI Green Label Plus certifications. Read more.

Will this rug pad leave a white powder underneath?

No, period. Many rug pad manufacturers use calcium carbonate as a filler and extender to add weight when developing latex backings. Over time the GCC (ground calcium carbonate) begins to release from the backing causing a white, powdery crystalline residue that will damage and scratch flooring. Our pads are intentionally free from latex and will never leave residue or scratch your floor.

Will my rug pad have a strong odor?

Thankfully, no. You may have experienced off-gassing (strong odor) from a rug pad purchased from other retailers or wholesalers. Latex backing, often improperly manufactured, is typically the cause.

We believe the fewer ingredients the better. Our rug pads are made 100% post recycled felted fiber (polypropylene, polyester, and nylon, to be exact) without any additives or harmful chemicals. Our CRI Green Label Plus certification ensures our pad meets the most stringent criteria for low chemical emissions—the lowest of any rug pad available.

How do I clean my rug pad?

Rug pads are low maintenance. While rugs should be vacuumed weekly to prevent dirt, dust, and debris from building up, rug pads do not need to be cleaned as often. Plan to vacuum or shake out your rug pad quarterly to coincide with the change in seasons. If needed, spot clean your rug pad with mild detergent. Allow to air dry while separated from rug and floor.

Which side of my rug pad goes down?

For hardwood, tile, and other solid flooring, place the rug pad daisy side down, with the felted surface up. For carpet, place the rug daisy side up, with the felted surface down.

Do your pads crease or cause lumps under the rug?

Our rug pads are engineered to lay flat quickly. We call it Rapid Relax and it has everything to do with our intentional choice against latex rubber. Your pad will lay rumple-free and smooth beneath your rug for a flawless install.

Why do I need a rug pad?

Rug pads protect your floors, protect your rug, create an added layer of comfort, and help dampen sound. Most of all, a designer quality, non-slip rug pad is important for safety – preventing rugs from bunching, serpentining and sliding, all of which present slip and fall hazards. A rug pad is the hidden essential—every rug needs a pad.

Do I need a rug pad for a rug on carpet?

Yes. Many rugs will shift, move, curl or bunch on top of carpet. A non-slip rug pad helps prevent this type of movement. Pro tip: place the rug pad daisy side up, felted surface down. (This is opposite what you would do if you were placing the pad on solid surface flooring).

I ordered more than one rug pad. How will I know which pad goes with each project or room?

We label your rug so that you know exactly where to place it on installation day. Both the boxes and the pads are labeled with your name, PO, project name, any other sidemarks, quantity, and size. We don’t leave anything to guesswork.
